Mark Peres is interested in helping people and communities flourish. He is the founder and executive director of the Charlotte Center for the Humanities & Civic Imagination, and a professor of leadership and ethics at Johnson & Wales University. He is an active citizen and award-winning educator and writer.
Mark hosted the On Life and Meaning podcast, interviewing artists and community leaders about their careers and higher purposes. He founded and led Charlotte Viewpoint, a magazine about civic life and culture. He has had previous careers in investment planning, business, and law.
