I work as a technical project manager/scrum master for a small media tech company. I have 7 years of experience in this field. My daily goal is to organize and prioritize teams to ensure that the right work is delivered on time. There are constant changes to priorities and it is my job to ensure we adjust and course correct when this happens. I have found my techniques very effective at work and at home when done well. Many people are not great at organizing work but with some basic principles, they can easily organize and prioritize work to ensure they output the items with the most value. It is not about getting more done in less time, it is about getting the highest value work done on a consistent basis.
