How to Get Your Photobook Published

This course will explore the ins and outs of photobook publishing and help photographers determine their best path forward to get their work published. Over the course of eight lessons, it will cover how to edit and sequence your work for a book, creating a book dummy, discovering the best-fit publishing model, approaching publishers, fundraising, printing, and promoting your book. By the end of the course, you will have an in-depth knowledge of how the photobook publishing industry works and the information you need to get your photobook published.

Jennifer Yoffy is the founder of Yoffy Press, an independent publisher dedicated to pushing the boundaries of photobook publishing. She was the creator/director of the non-profit Crusade for Art and the owner of a gallery that showcased the work of emerging photographers. In the spring of 2013, she traveled around the country in a 1977 VW bus, engaging audiences with photography. She has written two books, Crusade for Your Art: Best Practices for Fine Art Photographers and Crusade for Your Audience: Finding and Cultivating Art Collectors. She also hosts the podcast, Perfect Bound with Jennifer Yoffy.
