This course is about the Presidents of the United States from the creation of the nation to the present day.
Joe Biden, the forty-sixth president of the United States, was inaugurated in January 2021. In this course, I give a brief history of the preceding 45 presidents and the key national and international events that impacted their presidencies. I am British and have no political axe to grind, and I seek to give an objective view on each president and their period in office.
As well as the lives and actions of the presidents, the course gives an overview of U.S. history and the political and social changes that have taken place over the last 300 years.
