Dr. Michael McDonald is a professor of finance at Fairfield University. He holds a PhD in finance, and his work has been published in major financial journals such as the Journal of Corporate Finance, the Journal of Fixed Income, the Pacific Basin Journal of Finance, and the Journal of Behavioral Finance. Professor McDonald’s work has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, CNN, Nasdaq.com, Bloomberg, Reuters, and many other outlets. His past work experience includes time on Wall Street with a major hedge fund and working for several technology startups. He has also served as the CFO of a clean energy company and in lower level financial roles at a number of other small and midsized companies.
