Dr. Jay Eitner is a proud product of New Jersey public schools. Graduating from The American University with a BA, he began his teaching careering 2001 teaching a variety of grade levels and subjects. Known for being 'outside of the box' and for strong technology infusion, Eitner strived to make a learning environment that was both student-centered and data-driven.

Jay received his Master's Degree in 2004 and taught 8th grade for a number of years before becoming an Assistant Principal, a K-12 Academic Supervisor, and a Superintendent of Schools at the age of 32. He was the 2015 educators' choice pick for the National Superintendent of the Year at the BAMMY award and spoke twice at The White House about technology education.

Dr. Eitner currently consults with district administrators and school board members across the country through his own educational company, Eitner Education. Dr. Eitner's can be followed on Twitter under the name @Jay_Eitner and also hosts the 'EDUSuperReads' podcast available on iTunes, Anchor, and Google Play.
