The origin of our food is an important topic to be aware of. This is our food after all. However, many individuals are unaware of the several steps in the chain that gets food to their plate. This course focuses on each step of the process from farm to fork.
I am currently a college student pursuing a career as a high school agriculture teacher. I was trained in public speaking in FFA during high school and I spoke primarily about agricultural issues, which encouraged me to create my podcast on which I teach others about agriculture and how it ties into their lives. I have been running the podcast for 3 years now and I have been coaching and mentoring young agricultural students and public speakers for two years.
