This course helps teachers change their mindset from classroom teaching to teaching online. The course begins with a look at the philosophy of education, and then walks the teacher through creating a teaching studio with enough hardware and free software. The teacher will then be given suggestions on lesson planning, how to keep students engaged, and the power of using assessments.
Bruce Rout has taught all over the world for thirty years. Mostly he has taught math and science along with teaching in environments of adult learning, college-level courses, high school, and primary school. From the interior of New Zealand to the isolated Native Reserves of Canada; including rural, urban, and suburban schools, both public and private schools; students of every background imaginable have taught Bruce everything he knows about teaching.
