My name is Matteo Girardi. I live in Italy, and I am a WSET Diploma graduate.
I am a WSET Certified Educator, teaching about wines since 2015. Since November 2017, I am an associate Judge at the IWC (International Wine Challenge), and since January 2018, I am an associate Judge at the IWSC (International Wine Spirits Competition), both competitions are held in London.
In March 2020, I became a collaborator in the function of categoriser for the Decanter World Wine Awards (postponed to 2021).
In August 2020, I was accepted to attend the VDP Ambassador training program in Germany, where all courses will be held by a Master of Wine (postponed to 2021).
